It may be more or less easy to admit that, whatever we say or do, what we truly seek, at the deepest level of our being, is to be loved.
Love as the Inner Source of Commitment
We can look for this love outside of ourselves and draw from it, as if quenching our thirst from a fountain.
But what happens when the water stops flowing?
Or we can recognize that this love already exists within us, anchored deep inside.
What Your Emotions Reveal
If love were not already present within us, we would not experience suffering.
We would feel neither sadness, nor anger, nor fear.
It is precisely because love already exists within us, because a part of us deeply cares, that these emotions arise.
Behind every frustration, disappointment, or setback lies, in reality, an expression of that love.
When you feel worry, stress, or anger, it is this love within you reacting.
It carries a simple message:
“I love you. I don’t want you to be hurt, to feel sad, angry, or afraid.”
Listen to this message.
Supporting Yourself to Lead Better
Recognizing that love already exists within you allows it to grow.
It gives it the space it needs to unfold.
By making room for it, by listening to what it expresses, you take care of yourself.
And by taking care of yourself, you also take care of your company.
Ultimately, it is not love that sustains you.
It is you who sustain love.
If you would like to deepen this relationship with yourself and clarify what is happening within you, I invite you to book a confidential conversation.
